Twin Towers is another classic photograph by Anthony P. Maddaloni. The photo was taken the day of the February 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Upon hearing the nears Anthony rushed down to the meadowlands of New Jersey to capture the image.
In 1993, The United States found out just how vulnerable they were in some of the most innocent of places, their work. There were very few that did not feel something that day whether it was fear, anger, or sorrow, it was an awful precursor to the events that would take place almost niine years later in September 2001. On any given day 60,000 innocent people would populate the Twin Towers just to make a living or visit as tourists. Whatever the reason for being at the World Trade Center, once you visited, is would never forget the sheer size and beauty of the structures, a symbol of America's greatness that disappeared, America's greatness with it too, perhaps.
Twin Towers is a highly celebrated fine art piece, nning countless awards from Professional Photographers of America, American Society of Photographers and is permanently featured in the International Photography Hall of Fame. This is the type of image that follows you everywhere you go once you've gotten a glimpse of it's majesty. Considering the World Trade Center is gone from the New York skyline forever, having the image on your wall is one of the best ways to cherish the memory of the magnificent structures while honoring those who fell victim of the deadly attack of September 11, 2001. Available in two versions, full color or black and white, Twin Towers is a great addition to any collection.
